Any resident of Canada or the USA who has resided normally in either country for at least 1 year prior to Jan 01, 2026, AND is not on the WST professional players list as of same date.
Yes, they pay same entry as all players if they play in open league.
Any player who is under the age of 18 on or after Jan 1 of the championship year (2026).
Player names are provided to the NSL by the VIP club, which randomly assigns them into groups of 5:
Each group is placed into its own WhatsApp group for communication.
Within each group of 5 players, each player plays every other player in their group twice over approximately 10 weeks. This means each player plays 8 matches in total.
Players are provided with contact information for their group opponents and must arrange matches at mutually agreed times. Matches must be played at the club the player represents.
The winner of each match reports the result (and any 50+ breaks) to their club manager/owner, who uploads it to the NSL web portal.
If two players cannot agree on a schedule to play, both players will be counted as losing the match. In case of dispute, the club owner decides if a player made valid attempts to play.
After all group matches are concluded, the top 2 players from each group advance to Judgment Day:
Judgment Day is a straight best-of-5 (3/5) knockout tournament with fixed pairings and no redraw:
Quarterfinals: Group A winner vs Group B runner-up, Group B winner vs Group A runner-up (and similarly for C vs D).
Should there be less than 64 qualifiers, players who were runner’s up on Judgement Day will be offered a spot at the championships by rebuying in. Players will be offered a spot based on order of merit (who has the best record will get first right of refusal) and we will go down the list in order until all 64 places are filled.
100% of player fees will be paid out as prize money without deduction and dispersed in the same proportions as stated.
